Hello and welcome to my world :)
I'm Yunabán, which is not my real name, and I've been vegan for over 2 years and I'm also glutenfree. I live in a tiny town in Switzerland and enjoy going to the close lake or forest 💚🌱🌲🌊
I'm a graphic designer, designer, artist and just enjoy doing the things I love. I work part-time at a company which allows me to be independent and have a lot of free time as well. And so I pour all my spare time into my little projects like this blog.
And this is the story why I started this blog:
I've always been a creative person and I love to express myself in different media and techniques. Taking photos, creating things with my hands and drawing have always been my favorite.
As a kid I wrote many things like little poems or short texts and had a diary like many girls had. Over the years I stopped writing in my spare time. I felt like the texts I wrote didn't match my personality and sounded cheesy. I think one of the reasons is that I had to write in German. There's really nothing wrong about the German language, it's just different to the language I speak which is Swiss German.
So it's ok for me to write formal emails at work or essays (when I went to school). But as soon as I write more personal texts e.g. on social media or just writing down my thoughts I don't like them.
That's one of the reasons why I started to write in English. And I know my English isn't perfect by far but I just enjoy it more. And the audience is soooo much bigger, which is the second reason I guess :)
"I don't even know how long I will keep blogging, I'll do it as long as it's fun to me..."
Sooo, long story 😅
Here's the shorted reason why I started writing again:
I made some huge lifestyle and personal changes in 2016 and I feel the urge to write some things down and share bits of my story and the stuff I do and create. I hope I can help at least a few people finding their own path and inspire you to be a healthier and happier person.
And I want to improve my English as well. So I'm already sorry for the many mistakes I make. We're all learning through doing along the way :)
